Is “si us plau” formal?

It is the standard broadly useful form for please. You may also hear sisplau in speech and informal writing.

Is “bona nit” a greeting or goodbye?

It can function as both, depending on context and time.

Are these phrases the same in Valencian?

Most are understood, but some everyday choices and pronunciation differ. Learners focused on Valencia should add locally preferred forms and Valencian audio.
